Description:
Gruv Gear FretWraps are a professional string dampener designed to eliminate unwanted string noise, overtones, and sympathetic ringing. Whether you are recording in the studio, tapping, playing with high gain, or practicing technical passages, these wraps help clean up your sound by controlling extra vibrations. They provide a simple and effective way to ensure that only the notes you intend to play are heard clearly, making them an essential tool for guitarists and bassists who want to tighten their technique and achieve cleaner takes.
Using the FretWrap is straightforward and requires no tools or permanent instrument modifications. Simply slide the wrap over the strings and adjust the pressure to achieve your desired level of dampening. When you want your strings to have full open resonance again, the unit easily slides behind the nut. This Small size is specifically designed to fit most standard 6-string electric and acoustic guitars, as well as 4-string basses, providing a versatile solution for reducing noise in any performance or recording environment.
