The GA-40 is a compact, dedicated guitar and bass tuner with automatic pitch detection. It features a large, easy-to-see LCD needle-style display that combines the accuracy of an LCD with the easy viewing of a needle indicator. It is designed to be convenient and pocket-sized, suitable for stage or studio use.
The tuner supports seven-string guitars (7B through 1E) in Guitar mode and six-string basses (Low-B and Hi-C) in Bass mode. It includes a Sound Out function that plays a reference tone through its internal speaker for tuning by ear. The GA-40 also provides a Quinta Flat Tuning mode for dropped tunings and includes an output jack for bypass.
